Providing Halfway House Services

As the first halfway house of its kind in South Jersey, Hendricks House Group opened its first home in Vineland NJ in 1993 with 16 beds for men struggling with alcoholism.  To meet the increasing need for Halfway House services in Southern NJ, Reynolds House, adjacent to the Hendricks House in Vineland, opened its doors as a 10-bed expansion facility.

Hendricks House Group identified a growing need in Atlantic County and opened the Galloway Campus.  In 2004, Hendricks House Group opened a 34 bed residential program for men in Galloway.  In 2005, HHG added a 34 bed female residential program building on the same campus, designed to serve females recovering from substance use disorders.

In 2022, Hendricks House Group expanded and opened the Millville Campus.  The Galloway campus was converted from 34 male and 34 female beds, to 68 male beds.  The Millville campus opened a 24 bed female program and an outpatient program serving all clients and counties.

Today, the Hendricks House Group has the ability to provide residential Halfway House service (ASAM 3.1 level of care)  to 108 adult male and 24 adult females, struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders.  In addition, HHG provides Intensive outpatient and outpatient services.
